About Us

There's a feeling most of us carry but rarely name. It sits just underneath the surface of ordinary life — a low-grade ache, a sense that something is missing even when nothing is technically wrong. It shows up as restlessness. As the version of loneliness you feel even in a room full of people who love you. As the suspicion that you are always just slightly outside of something you were meant to be inside of.

So we reach. For the relationship, the achievement, the distraction, the numbness — whatever promises to fill it. And it helps. For a little while. And then the ache comes back, and we reach again.

What most people don't know — and what took me a long time to understand — is that the feeling has a name. And it has a source. You were created by and for a love so complete that nothing on this earth can replicate it. Not even close. And somewhere deep in you, you know that. You've always known that. You just didn't know what you knew.

That restlessness isn't a flaw. It's not anxiety or ingratitude or a sign that something is wrong with you. It's the shape of what you were made for, making itself known by its absence.

LightBearing Life exists for the moment you're ready to stop reaching for things that were never built to hold you — and find out what actually was.

Mission

LightBearing Life meets people exactly where they are — curious, drifting, or ready to rebuild — and walks with them toward a faith that actually changes how they live. We welcome honest questions, offer real answers, and equip them with a simple, daily structure to apply faith intentionally across every area of life. Then we help them discover what they were always meant to do with it.

We exist to move people from confusion or drift into clarity, purpose, and a faith that produces real fruit.

The Method

G Gratitude "How can I get to know more about God today?"
O Obedience "How can I find who He intended me to be?"
D Discipleship "How can I share this light with others?"

Statement of Faith

God is the Creator and source of all life

Jesus is Lord and Savior

Scripture is the final authority for truth and life

Salvation is by grace through faith, not works

Love for God produces obedience

True faith bears fruit through a transformed life

We acknowledge the ongoing reality of sin and human brokenness, and we believe faith in Christ leads to continual transformation through repentance, obedience, and grace.

Our Scripture Anchors

These Scriptures form the foundation of LightBearing Life: who God is, how life flows in Him, what love requires, and how obedience becomes visible.

Elizabeth Westbrook, founder of LightBearing Life

Founder story

Elizabeth knows what it means to build.

For more than two decades, she built in the business world — led teams, solved hard problems, rose through levels of responsibility. Proved herself. She knows structure. She knows pressure. She knows what it takes to carry weight.

But some battles don’t care how capable you are. Career loss, health crises, and seasons most people don’t talk about publicly; they came, and they didn’t wait for a convenient time. What she built outwardly unraveled. What remained was a choice: keep running, or turn around.

She chose the turn.

Through Scripture, daily obedience, and a practice of gratitude that started as survival and became transformation, she rebuilt from the ground up with God at the center, not the margins.

She didn’t build LightBearing Life to sell religion. She built it for the woman who still feels the pull toward God but no longer trusts the packaging. The woman who has been talked at, judged, overlooked, or quietly starved. The woman who is tired of performance and needs to be seen.

That is why her work begins at the wound. Not with pressure. Not with shame. With honesty. With Scripture that is not sanitized. With hard questions most people are too afraid to touch.

She is not a pastor or theologian. She is a woman who did the work, found the path, and built the structure so others don’t have to walk it alone. She does not promise a shortcut. She offers a table.

And for the person who has been hungry long enough, that kind of leadership feels like bread... with a meal on the way.
